What do they do?

Around 20-50% of hospital patients in Europe are malnourished. Detection methods are inefficient (e.g., manual plate protocols), and current treatment products are inadequate (e.g., poor taste).

ALPINA+SANA offers a streamlined software and FSMP (Food for Special Medical Purposes) products as a service (FSaaS) to enable early detection and treatment of malnutrition.

Their software uses advanced 3D Computer Vision, to monitor patients’ nutritional intake and prescribe them food supplements to counter undetected malnutrition.

They’ve got insane traction already - They’ve reached out to 100 care facilities contacted and 73 of them were strongly interest (this is an insane percentage).

In 60 in-person meetings, 58 facilities, representing over 51% of all Swiss patients, showed keen interest in their products.
